Wheeler County is a designated Passport Acceptance Facility of the Department of State for the purpose of accepting applications for passports and administering oaths in connection therewith. Applications and photos will be handled by appointment only.

Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Standard Fees:

• New Passport Book Adults (DS-11)  $130 Check or Money Order Payable to Department of State

• New Passport Book Minors under age 16 (DS-11) $100 Check or Money Order Payable to Department of State

1. Children Under 16: How to Apply for your Child’s Passport?

All children under age 16 must apply for a passport in person with two parents or guardians using Form DS-11. You cannot renew your child's passport. Passports for children under age 16 are only valid for 5 years.
